Bus Tour of the Island and Primary Corridor Zoning Districts (a) Discussion of an ordinance amending Chapter 102 “Zoning” and Chapter 98 “Vegetation” of the City of Stafford Code of Ordinances regulating uses and vegetation in the Island (IS) and Primary Corridor (PC) zoning districts. i. Discussion of ordinance will occur during bus tour of IS and PC zoning districts. ii. No action will be taken on the ordinance during bus tour. iii. The meeting will continue at City Hall, 2610 South Main immediately after the bus tour.
(b) Discussion of comments received during the bus tour of the IS and PC Districts. (Large conference room until 7:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. the meeting will move to the City Council Chambers) (c) Consideration of appropriate action on item 3(a).
Report on engineering matters: (a) Progress of developments on the US 90A Improvement Project addressing landscape enhancements, monument, extension of aesthetic wall and landscaping at the TXI crossing; (b) Progress of Stafford/Staffordshire Road project addressing progress of construction; (c) Progress of US 59 Enhancement Project addressing landscaping, the monuments with the “City of Stafford” added on the panels opposite where “City of Stafford” is shown on each of the four monuments and anticipated completion date; (d) Status of Mobility Projects addressing Dulles Avenue, Brand Lane and Kirkwood Road improvement projects; (e) Local street and drainage improvements; and (f) Consideration of appropriate action on Items (a) - (e).
5. Commissioner Woolridge is requesting that an order be approved for an On-Demand Webinar titled Planning & Zoning Techniques for Open Space Preservation at a cost of $169.00. The Webinar would be available to multiple users for a period of ninety (90) days. 6. Adjournment.
